There are few things that have moved me quite like this.  Though I am definitely a loving feeling being and very compassionate to others, this man’s resolve and depth of understanding in the face of the most incredible adversity is beyond remarkable.  There is a profound lesson here in this speech.  Each and every one of us can take something from this that will make each and every one of us a little more patient, a little more loving and little more knowing.  When you see courage like this it’s hard to complain and not put life in some comprehensible perspective. Randy Pausch was a professor who had been battling terminal illness and gave a profound speech called “the last lecture.”
