I proclaim First Lady Michelle Obama’s speech may be one of the greatest speeches of all time. Her intelligence, whit and class in a league of its own. Her charismatic and passionate delivery spoke to the masses tugging heart strings and emotions and provoking deep compassionate thought. She spoke to crowd as a mother, not the wife of the commander in chief. Her relatability factor is where her power lies. Coming to the people as a public servant who truly cares and connects to us. She spoke of going high when they go low. She spoke with heart. And this is the most powerful and magnetic way to speak to others. While I sat in awe of her awesomeness I thought to myself, “Hmmm first Black female president?” And it was not only I, but the masses that praised her moments into it and still today and for years to come. We were all taken by her exceptional depth of understanding and delivery of what it means to be a representative of the people of a great nation. These are the kind of people we need leading our nation. One’s who speak of unity, bravery, courage and tolerance. Divisiveness only creates more division which has never served anyone.
